Musical instruments and dance were used to create an energy and connection with some greater force. Some instruments were the drums and the flute. A possible reason that they did this was because they wanted to interact with a greater force and they possibly did this because they were imitating the sounds and acts nature. The Native Americans worked collectively, had the 1st performance that was typically in an open field with no covering. It is interesting to look back on this footage and compare it to how entertainment has changed over time.
